The Circulation Management (Charge Out/In) function allows you to manage the circulation of Files and Boxes of Files.

With reduced staffing levels and tighter budgets, organizations are required to become more efficient. The task of managing the information you need to conduct your business is essential but is often shuffled to the end of the priority list due to other time constraints.

Charge Out No matter how your organization is structured, the ability to find a file in a timely manner is an important function and the QUEST Charge Out module can help you accomplish this!

The QUEST Charge Out/In module is simple and easy to use:

Identify the item that you’re charging out

And simply click on the Charge Out Button

Review a History of that item and a list of any people on a waitlist for the item

From the Charge Out/In window, you can quickly see the History of an item

You can also review any staff that are waiting for the item.

Charge Out, In, Transfer or put a person on a Waitlist for the item

Enter your Staff ID and click on a button and as simply as that, you’ve:
      Charged Out the item
- OR-
Charged In the item and automatically created a History
- OR -
Transferred an item from one person to another (and in the process created History)
- OR -
Put a person on the Waitlist for an item

Automatic notification of people on a waitlist

Any time you try and charge in an item, and there is a user on the waitlist for that item, you’ll be notified.

You can then choose to transfer the item to that person or not.
