Budget tight? Here here’s how some organizations obtain the benefit of using QRMS QUEST without purchasing a complete system.

If you are a separate group within an organization that already uses QRMS/QUEST but your records must be kept completely separate, then WinPat Software’s "Add on" policy may offer you a low cost alternative to buying your own QRMS/QUEST system.

If you have access to the server where the QRMS/QUEST system resides, completely segregated "Data Structures" and "Users" can be added to an existing QRMS or QUEST system.

Depending on the quantity discounts the existing organization qualifies for, new users can have their own secure access to a central QRMS or QUEST for a one-time cost as low as $589.00 and for an annual maintenance fee as low as $118.00.

Enhanced Support:

While QRMS can quickly respond to “Normal” support requests forwarded to them by either Fax or E-mail, we would like to offer more.

One: Effective January 2003, WinPat expanded their Support Services to allow direct phone requests to the Support Team. While it is strongly encouraged that when possible and to expedite support in the most practical manner, support requests continue to be made by E Mail or FAX, for those clearly defined Emergency Situations that need a "quick answer", the 604 596-1434 number may be the way to go.

Two: "Over the Web" Training and Support. The new "Linktivity" web based support system has proven to be a valuable new tool for WinPat support analysts. Now and with your approval, they can see what you are seeing and give direct assistance to solve the trickiest of systems questions.

Enhancements:

Enhancements for Release 2 of the QUEST software are now being compiled and if you are a registered user of the QUEST product before April 30, 2003, you too can participate in the enhancement voting. Some of the current enhancement requests include management of any type of electronic documents, electronic document versioning control and web based File update ability.

QRMS: Still going strong!

QRMS continues to be the Flagship product of WinPat Software. Our current users continue to add on new “Modules” and continue to obtain the benefits of one of the most fully featured records management systems available today. QRMS will continue to be supported for many years to come and clients are not required to upgrade to QUEST. If QRMS is providing all the functions you need, you can remain with the QRMS system for no additional software cost.

Electronic Document Management:

WinPat software has developed a comprehensive strategy to handle the varying Electronic Document Management needs for all sizes of organizations.

Option One: QUEST with WinPat’s new EDMS Module provides a fully integrated and flexible Physical and Electronic Information Management system that handles all the major EDRMS functions at an extremely attractive price.

Option Two: Specifically for BC Government Ministries and Agencies, WinPat is planning on providing custom interfaces to ensure that both QRMS and QUEST can integrate seamlessly with the developing Government Records Services new EDRMS system.

Option Three: For QUEST only, a new set of API’s is being developed to allow QUEST to integrate appropriately into most major stand alone EDM systems. This capability will allow users to maintain only one Classification System that can support both the QUEST Records Management System and the Clients own Document Management System. (E.g. FileNet; IBM’s Document Manager, Sharepoint, Hummingbird etc.)
