Kelowna User Group Meeting to
be held on September 19, 2001

The Kelowna User Group Meeting
will be held Wednesday September 19, 2001 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We are hoping that this sunny
Okanagan city will be a convenient meeting spot for our users and
potential clients located in the Interior.
This is a great chance to network with other QRMS users and records
managers. The ARMA fall
seminar is being held the previous day at the same venue with topics
including Automated Records Management Software and Electronic Document
Management Systems, so plan to take in both events.
ARMA seminar attendees are most welcome to join us!

Victoria User Group Meeting to be held
October 24, 2001

The second
annual Victoria User Group Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24,
2001. There is no charge to attend
this meeting. We would like

Camosun Classes
|

|
It’s that time of year again. Camosun College in conjunction with co-sponsor WinPat
Software, is offering QRMS training classes at the Interurban Campus in
Victoria, British Columbia from
November 3 to December 1, 2001.
Classes will be offered Saturday mornings from
9:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m.
The
cost of four sessions is
$175. Elizabeth
Cote,
an experienced software trainer and a
client support/consultant for WinPat Software, will be instructing
the course.
Elizabeth will lead you through
the QRMS Software features necessary to perform records
management functions quickly and efficiently.

WinPat Software is planning to present a one-day training session for six QRMS users in Williams Lake tentatively planned for early November. BC Archives
released the latest ARCS Amendments a few weeks ago.
If you need assistance with electronic conversion, take advantage
of our conversion service. Let
us do the work for you! For $795 (plus applicable taxes), clients with maintenance agreements can e-mail, FTP or send us data on a diskette/CD-ROM and we’ll update it to include the latest ARCS Amendments. (No maintenance agreement? Give us a call). To minimize downtime, send us your data by Friday noon, and we will have your updated data back to you on Monday morning! Update utility program allows you to enter a set of file selection
criteria in order to globally update all files or a set of files with
certain criteria (i.e. by Structure Level, Schedule, Retention,
Responsibility Designation, and File Range).
