ON-LINE TUTORIAL
Included with the 32Bit Version of the Software is an on-line tutorial. Follow step by step instructions for setting up the system and carrying out the functions you need to maintain your records.
FILE ADDITION FUNCTION ENHANCEMENT
Now a new Option in the system will allow you to have the open Date of the first Volume automatically default to the open date of the File.

In July of 1998, New Directives with respect to policy and program area changes in the areas of freedom of information and protection of privacy and records management were released by the Information, Science and Technology Agency.
Directive: 6/98
Subject: Accelerating the Implementation of Records/Information Management Program
This Directive requires Ministries to fully implement their records/information management programs including completing the development, approval and implementation of Operational Records Classification System schedules, filing and processing all administrative records in accordance with the Administrative Records Classification System, transferring to the Provincial Archives records scheduled for archival retention and destroying records scheduled for destruction.
Since the cost of storing boxes will be increasing (Directive 7/98) from $3.00 to $6.00 per box, it is essential for Ministries to implement their Records/Information Management Programs as swiftly and cost effectively as possible.
